Energy bar recipe Protein Bar Recipe | Dry Fruit Energy Bars | Nut energy bar recipe with photos. It is a very healthy and sugar free chikki or barfi made from a mixture of dry fruits. It is a very good sugar free dessert that can be eaten after a workout, in a fast or iftar or even when you are hungry. This recipe is made with a mixture of dry fruits (dry fruits) and nuts (peanuts), in which you can change the quantity as per your taste.

  Ingredients for Energy Bar Recipe

  • 1 cup dates, seeds removed
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup cashew nuts
  • 1 cup almonds
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup pistachios
  • ¼ cup sesame seeds
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ½ cup dry coconut, grated
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder
  • 4 tsp salt
  • ½ cup rolled oats


Preparations of Energy Bar Recipe

First of all, place 1 cup of dates in a bowl of hot water for soaking for 2 hours.
Now make a paste by grinding it without adding water and then keep it aside.
Put 1 cup cashew nuts, 1 cup almonds, ½ cup walnuts, ¼ cup pistachios, ¼ cup sesame seeds and ¼ cup pumpkin seeds in a pan.

Now fry them on low heat for 5 minutes until crisp.
After this, add ½ cup dry coconut and roast it.
Now take out the roasted dry fruits in another bowl and keep them aside.
Put the dates paste in a pan and cook it lightly on medium heat.
Cook until the paste is thick.

Now add roasted dry fruits, ½ cup honey, ½ tsp cardamom powder and ¼ tsp salt.
Now turn off the gas stove / flame and keep stirring it till everything is well mixed.
After this, take ½ cup rolled oats in a pan and fry it on a medium flame till it smells.
Now make fine powder in its blender.
Add this oats powder to the dry fruits and dates mixture.

Now keep mixing it well until it becomes thick.
Now take out the prepared mixture on a baking paper in a smooth plate.
Set it up and make it like a block.
Keep it in the fridge to set for 1 hour.
Now take it out and cut it into pieces like bars.

Finally, the energy bar is ready to be served and eaten or you can fill it in an airtight (airtight) pot and keep it in the fridge and eat it for a month.

You can also eat bar recipe with your friends at party time.
