Griddled French Toast Recipe is a delicious and indulgent breakfast that’s crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and packed with comforting flavors. Made by soaking thick slices of bread in a flavorful egg mixture, this dish is griddled to perfection for a golden, slightly crunchy crust. 
Serve it with powdered sugar, syrup, or fresh fruit for an extra treat!

Ingredients:

  • 4 slice of bread (such brioche or challah)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk (or a non-dairy alternative)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Butter for griddling
  • Powdered sugar and maple syrup for serving (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the batter:
    In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.

  2. Heat the griddle:
    Preheat your griddle or a large skillet over medium heat and add a little butter to coat the surface.

  3. Dip the bread:
    Dip every slices of bread in the egg mixture, both sides are evenly coated. Allow any excess batter to drip off.

  4. Griddle the French toast:
    Place the soaked bread slices on the griddle and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. You may need to adjust the heat depending on your griddle.

  5. Serve:
    Once cooking completed , take the French toast from griddle. Serve with a dusting of powdered sugar and drizzle with maple syrup or your favorite topping.
