Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven: Start by heating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together.

  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and honey until smooth. Blend in the vanilla extract along with the vegetable oil until well incorporated.

  4. Combine the Mixtures: Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms.

  5. Add the Almonds: Gently fold the slivered almonds into the dough.
